This another package film, which were made from unfinished story ideas and released in order to keep Disney Animation afloat during the late forties. This time the film is in the vein of Fantasia except this time set to popular songs of the day. I enjoyed this film significantly more than fantasia for that reason as the songs were enjoyable and the shorts, despite lacking an overall narrative, had actual individual stories to them instead of simply being visual marvels. I enjoyed most of the segments with All the Cats Join In, The Martins and the Coys, and Peter and the Wolf being my favorites. I recommend this film as a shorter and more enjoyable alternative to Fantasia though it is easily skippable in favor of later Disney classics.
