This is yet another package film this time with two, non-musical, shorts. The first is called Bongo which tells the story of a circus bear cub who escapes captivity and has to learn to adapt to the wild. There he meets a lovely female bear named Lulubella who he attempts to win the affections of. It is an entertaining story but sadly forgettable. What connects the two segments is a live-action storybook reading. The second short is called, Mickey and the Beanstalk, it is a delightful retelling of Jack and the Beanstalk with Mickey, Donald, and Goofy. It is the standout between the two shorts and well worth watching on its own. It is also notable for being the last time Walt Disney voiced Mickey Mouse because he became too busy working on other projects to continue voicing the character. Overall, the movie is fine, definitely one of the better and more original package films (owing to its non-musical nature) of the decade with Mickey and the Beanstalk stealing the spotlight.

Final Rating: 6/10
