The plot of this movie is Piglet feels unappreciated and useless because he is small and quiet (and his friends reinforce this idea of inferiority at the beginning), so he runs away. His friends then go searching for him by retracing and reliving memories in Piglet’s scrapbook. Through these flashbacks they learn Piglet is an invaluable friend. I honestly personally relate to Piglet, so I understand how he feels. That being said I think how he is treated from the outset is out of very character for Pooh and his friends. It is sweet how they add drawings to his scrapbook (although this is because they destroy it) that speak to how highly they think of Piglet after their recollections. Also, as I said with The Tigger Movie, I do not enjoy the animation style as much as the original movie, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. I believe it is a lost cause that Disney will ever bring that style back but unless they do my feelings about the current art style will remain unchanged. Overall, the movie is cute, and I enjoyed this movie more the previous one because I like Piglet more than Tigger. I still believe the original is the best theatrical version of the characters, but if you enjoy Winnie the Pooh you will enjoy this movie.

Final Rating: 4.5/10
